Information exchange in the form of a workshop, interviews and a forum was used as a means to answer the questions:
Is indoor air quality (IAQ) recognised as an issue by the key stakeholders concerned with the provision, management and use of the built environment (such as the architect, product producers, and also the end-user), and if not how can awareness of the issue be raised?
Consideration was given to the knowledge status of stakeholders on IAQ, the information available to them and its adequacy to meet their needs, as well as the most effective methods of communicating.
